In Better Ideas’ video How to cure brain rot, he mentions that being more conscious of your day to day “Mental Posture” is one of the best ways to counteract the effects of Brain Rot.

Active mental posture would describe a proactive & structured attention. Generally focused on internal motivation towards creative or productive action.

Passive mental posture would describe a lounging consumption of unstructured entertainment, without a clear goal or effort. Generally consisting of easy gratification.

Start your day slowly, without high stimulation, & planned out in order to allow active mental posture to carry you through the bulk of the day. Motivating you to attack the day rather than passively be affected by it.

Do more things that pull you into the present & encourage action. Do things that bring you into a Flow State. Avoid compulsive comfort seeking. Avoid over consuming low effort entertainment & Internet Voyeurism.
