In this 2018 [clip from a JRE episode](https://www.youtube.co m/watch?v=odcll3qmZH8), MMA fighter Michael Chandler talks about how mental “highlight reels” helped him bounce back after a big loss streak.

He references learning the concepts from the books Mind Gym and How Champions Think.

This felt like a great description of the Win Conditioning I’ve been doing & an example of how beneficial it is at cultivating a dignified mindset for success.

For ambitious & perfectionistic people, accomplishments can easily be thrown off as just things that “we should” have done. We tend to obsess over perfecting every moment out of fear that one loss would prove our inadequacy.

This is such a big mental trap since it’s hard to act like a winner when you never feel like a winner, because you never remind yourself of any proof of you being able to win. This is why we must also train ourselves at recognizing our collective success in order to become more resilient towards imperfection, setbacks, & self doubt.

(with all that being said… he did just lose his fight a couple weeks ago lol)
